Vista Processed Foods Pvt. Ltd. increases its product lines sieving capacity with the Russell Compact Sieve®
Vista Processed Foods Pvt. Ltd., also known as Vista Foods is a part of OSI Group, a global supplier of customized processed food solutions to the world’s leading foodservice and retail food brands.
Established in India in 1996, Vista Foods is one of the largest frozen and chilled processed food companies in the country, having 7 facilities and more than 20 employees focused in developing processed food products across India. During the sieving of difficult food ingredients like breadcrumbs, batter, and spices, Vista Foods were experiencing difficulties with its previous machinery not achieving the required throughput or quality. In order to solve this, Vista Foods sought a high-capacity vibro sifter and contacted Russell Finex for advice. Following a site visit by a Russell Finex sales engineer, it was decided the installation of the Russell Compact Sieve® would meet the requirements and give significant benefits for the different food processing applications.
An innovative screening solution, the Russell Compact Sieve® is a high-capacity sieving machine, capable of sieving various food powders and liquids, whilst also fitting neatly into production lines. This vibro sifter is very popular in the food industry, providing high-containment and hygienic sieving of powders and liquids.
Vista Foods installed the Russell Compact Sieve® unit at the preparation stage of its production line for its food products. The vibratory sifter operates with a sieving capacity of up to 800 Kg/H and 100% consistent product quality compared to the previous screening machines which only had a throughput capacity of up to 600 Kg/H. With the installation of the Russell Compact Sieve®, Vista Foods have observed a 33% increase in the throughput capacity, boosting the overall production process.
