Sieving Sodium Ascorbic Acid
600mm Russell Compact Sieve® demonstration showing the different characteristics of two pharmaceutical products
In an industry where product quality cannot be compromised, all Russell Finex pharmaceutical equipment is manufactured with the highest quality stainless steel 316L grade to prevent contamination and impurities. Specialist polishing techniques also enable the equipment to be finished to a documented Ra 0.1, ensuring all equipment can be easily and thoroughly cleaned.
In this demonstration video, a 600mm Russell Compact Sieve® is used to show the different characteristics of sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid. Sodium ascorbate, when screened on a 1000 micron mesh, flows freely without starting the machine. On the other hand ascorbic acid will simply sit on the mesh until the machine is turned on to provide a contamination free product.
