In this demonstration video, a 600mm Russell Compact Sieve® is used to show the different characteristics of sodium ascorbate and ascorbic acid. Sodium ascorbate, when screened on a 1000 micron mesh, flows freely without starting the machine. On the other hand ascorbic acid will simply sit on the mesh until the machine is turned on to provide a contamination free product.
