Russell Finex holds a pharmaceutical event in Taj Chandigarh
Russell Finex Sieves & Filters Pvt Ltd held its first separation technology seminar and networking event at the Taj Hotel, Chandigarh in May 2018. The event provided the opportunity for key pharmaceutical manufacturing companies to learn about high-performance separation solutions for the pharmaceutical industry.
Leading companies within the pharmaceutical industry attended the event, including Cipla, Dr. Reddy, Cadila Healthcare, ACME, Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Alkem Laboratories, Abbott Laboratories, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Wockhardt Ltd, Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Medicef Pharma etc.
The event provided an introduction to the 80-year history of Russell Finex, and included presentations on pharmaceutical separation solutions, the importance of machine quality and the excellent aftermarket support available, all of which are essential in maintaining an efficient production line and high-quality final products. This was followed by a Q & A session where a team of specialized Russell Finex sales engineers were at hand to answer questions related to productivity, reliability and high-quality machinery.
The Russell Compact Airswept Sieve™, a popular machine in the pharmaceutical industry was displayed during the event to demonstrate its ability to perform dust-free check-screening and conveying of pharmaceutical powders from storage locations to the next process stage. This pneumatic sieving machine is designed to deliver high throughput rates and dust-tight sieving to minimize the risk of product inhalation by operators, whilst its compact size allows it to easily fit into existing production lines.
The event was a great success, allowing Russell Finex to network with many major pharmaceutical customers and educate them on how to improve their processes.
