Low pressure extrusion technologies for converting wet powders into free flowing granules
This equipment, from Fuji Paudal of Japan, transforms wet mass powder into well-formed cylindrical, dust free, extrudates of a controlled diameter. Depending on the desired end use, the wet extrudates will either be spheronized or dried to produce various products in the pharmaceutical, food, agrochemical, and other industries.

Twin Dome Extruder
The Twin Dome Extruder uses dome shaped extrusion heads to produce granules with minimal energy required. Commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry for the production of WDG’s (Water Dispersible Granules).
Basket Extruder
The Basket Extruder is the lowest pressure extruder available and as with the Twin Dome Extruder, is recommended for pharmaceutical WDG’s and heat sensitive formulations.
Frontal Extruder
The Frontal Extruder transports product through a flat die plate which compared to the other extruders, produces granules with the highest density.
Radial Extruder
The Radial Extruder uses semi-cylindrical screens fitted along each side of the extrusion blades. This unique machine has the option of water-cooled shafts for temperature controlled applications.
